I got into teaching Pilates when I discovered I had spinal & muscular back & neck problems after years of teaching Aerobic classes!!!! I found that Pilates allowed me to continue teaching fitness classes & to manage my back problems . Having had a history of these back problems allows me to identify with clients who do suffer from back, neck, pelvic problems etc...
My second specialist is Ante / Post Natal Exercise, I studied both Fitness & Pilates during & after pregnancy about 5 years ago, and have since had many clients who have benefited from the Pilates class especially during this time!!! I am now expecting my first Child in January 2008 and have discovered how much things do need to be modified during this time!!!
As a GP Referral Consultant I am able to train & help improve conditions such as high blood pressure, Muscular problems, Asthma, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Pregnancy etc.
